A detailed overview of the Phocus application starts with the User Interface and the practical uses for each area of the screen, from browsing RAW files for Import or Quick Collection to viewing and changing thumbnails, the main viewer window and modification tools, to the tool panes for image analysis, adjustments, and exporting.

Each area is covered with illustrative examples of real-world scenarios and tools are shown working on live data for visual feedback. Custom configurations of the User Interface are shown to maximize your productivity in changing environments, so you are always optimized for the most efficient workflow.

Advanced tools are discussed and shown to expand your creative capability, such as the Live Video for tethered shooting, Remote lens focusing using the computer, and automatic CF-card import and export with customized settings for RAW processing.

Workflow is shown in both studio (tethered, computer control of camera) and field (un-tethered) applications, including Job Name creation, export using your naming conventions, and top keyboard shortcuts for speed - essential skills for Hasselblad owners and digital techs. Batch modification of images makes it easy to apply adjustments from any image to hundreds of others.

Update firmware procedure is shown to perform field upgrades to the Hasselblad camera system using a Hasselblad digital back.

Hasselblad Phocus Certification is available for digital techs who pass the exam.
